After years of listening to fisherman's concerns and criticisms with respect to thin trolling spoons used on the west coast, Sidney, B.C. based O'Ki Tackle Mfg. Ltd. has launched their new line of "Built West Coast Tough" Titan Spoons.

The company is applying the knowledge that it has learned in its 37 years in the fishing tackle industry to produce a line of spoons that will outfish and outlast others.

Company owner Brian Smith has indicated that he has, "built a better mousetrap". His spoons feature hard and glossy finishes able to withstand the rough use that west coast fishing demands.

No split rings are used, rather all rings are welded stainless steel giving the spoon superior strenght and eliminating the chance of line cutting.

Holding power is accomplished by both Mustad and Eagle Claw stainless steel hooks. Spoon size #5 and #6 employ a specifically designed hook style that aids in holding the fish while allowing for easier release of undersize or non retention species.

Finishes consist of the 15 most popular west coast colors and patterns along with several new ones made famous by O'Ki Tackle - blue-green mist, yellow-green mist and Sooke Special.
Several selections of 24 Karat gold tape combinations and 50/50 gold nickel finishes are available. More colors unique to the west coast will be added.

Size ranges from #4 (3 1/4"), #5 (3 7/8"), and a #6 (5 1/2")
